The threat from Cyclone Oma may have meant we had to reschedule our FREIGHTLINER BIG BOYS TOYS event but it didn't stop the crowds making their way to our dealership last Saturday for our BIGGEST LOUDEST FUNNEST show yet!!
Over 500 friends of the business made their way to our show to see the array of beautiful, rare, vintage, retro and down right awesome TOYS. From Chevvies to Mustangs, Morris Minors to Trans Ams our show had it all and I didn't even mention the heaps of cool as bikes and carefully restored hot rods and stock cars.
Marketing Manager Jane Chapman says; "We are so delighted with the massive turn out from customers and the local community to support our rip roaring, high octane event. It was a big call to reschedule the event but it all turned out well in the end. We recorded a record number of guests and toys for this our 2nd Freightliner Big Boys Toys event and we are stoked."
There was heaps of entertainment on the day with the ever popular 'Rev the Engines' sections and live wheel spinning, wheelies action from the 'too cool for school guys' from Farrows Customs. Jane says, "The energy at the event was awesome, the sun shone and a great time was had by all. We've really raised the bar this year and we were blown away by the turn out and support for our event."
Dealer Principal Chris Spence said; "The event has taken on a life of its own with a record number of "toys" registered and guests attending. Who knows what will happen next year for our 2020 Big Boys Toys event"
Local businesses Moffat Beach Brewing Co and the American Hot dog Co fed and watered the crowds. People's Choice award, Best on show, mystery prizes and show bags resulted in heaps of prize giveaways for guests.
